Be good (video)

There are times, days, weeks when for whatever reason we become extremely demanding with our children.

Behave well, don't touch that, sit well, be careful that you are going to fall, etc. These are typical phrases (maybe too much) in the relationship between parents and children.

This video comes to tell the same in humor. A satire of our way of acting that can help us to do a bit of self-criticism and think about how demanding we can be.

The song is titled "Thank You" and is by Luis Pescetti.

It has helped me to see myself reflected in some moments of everyday life. I try that they are few, since the demands (and especially the excess of them) they are usually because of adults. Either we are in a hurry, or we are late, or now is not the time, or we have a bad day or we are too busy to assist them.

All this ends up in a call from our children to be for them and, if the noble and formal request fails, they look for the one that works for sure, which is precisely the one that exasperates us.

On the other hand, it has helped me (the song) to remember the other position, that of son. Remember those moments when we received orders from our parents and teachers and remember the sense of injustice that was often born in us.

It is always good not to forget that a while ago, not much, we were also children.
