Cookbook for children: "Valeria Varita's magic recipes"

On a date like today, on which Book Day is celebrated, we could not miss the opportunity to recommend a title for the little ones in the house. A book that will encourage them to develop a taste for reading, illustrations, and cooking. Because it's about "Valeria Varita's magic recipes", a children's cookbook, written by Emma Thompson.

We are facing a book of simple cooking recipes, though, beware of the sweet tooth, because as our companions of Blank Paper tell us, most elaborate dishes are sweet. Sweets as suggestive as the magic muffins, butterfly buns or wonder cake.

The book is also very interesting for children because it contains beautiful illustrations of the fairy Valeria and her friends with the recipes. Even the little ones are given advice to enjoy their culinary creation a little more. That's how nice to cook, right?

The author of this cookbook and creator of Valeria Varita's character is Emma Thompson, the British actress, that lately turns to the world of children, also in the cinema.

I did not know that Valeria Varita already had a whole collection of books of very different format and theme. Emma Thompson tells us about this character:

Valeria represents for me the capacity of astonishment of children. As we grow older, our fear of the magical world grows. (...) The true magic of Valeria is to see the ordinary things with that sparkle in her eyes.

From the age of five or six it is a book that will not leave them indifferent, neither to them, nor to us. I know that they are being taken from bookstores to give to young children, and that many older people do not resist getting this beautiful book.

The children's cookbook “Valeria Varita's magic recipes” is edited by Beascoa and its price is 16'95 euros.
