Only half of the Spanish know their fertile days

Clearblue, the brand of the new digital pregnancy test and the new ovulation test, has carried out a study at European level to know the degree of information of women about pregnancy and conception.

The Spanish do not get a good grade. They find each other among the Europeans who least know the best day of the menstrual cycle to conceive, along with the English and the Dutch.

For their part, they are, together with the Germans, the ones who would go to the doctor the most to know their fertile date and those who least remember the date of their last period.

The study reveals that, in general, Spanish women have little knowledge of their feminine cycle. Knowing how to know your body and identify fertile days is an essential fact to get pregnant. Even on the internet you can find a lot of places to create your fertility calendar.

As well as the calendar, today other ways to recognize which are the most auspicious days of the month to get pregnant. In the blog we have already explained some ways to identify them to increase the chances of pregnancy.

Another worrying fact that the survey has thrown is that only 10% of Spanish women give importance to taking a folic acid supplement during the first months of pregnancy.

We have already commented that it is essential to start doing it a month before starting to look for a pregnancy and continue taking it during pregnancy until the doctor indicates it. It is a vital vitamin for the proper development of the baby.

It is not for scolding anyone, much less, but for awareness. It is important that women, especially those who are looking to get pregnant, learn to know their body better, identify their cycles and start taking care of themselves the months before pregnancy.
