"Guide to healthy eating", tips for the whole family

Nutrition occupies a very important space in our blog, as a fundamental part of a healthy lifestyle for the whole family. That's why I talk about this interesting "Guide to healthy eating", with advice related to the preparation and consumption of meals.

This is an extensive edition that we can consult or download online, widely illustrated, prepared by a group of experts from the Spanish Community Nutrition Society (SENC), with the collaboration of professionals from other related organizations.

The work incorporates not only food consumption guides, but also guides for the purchase, conservation and preparation of them, menus for each day and advice on food safety at home, so it is a highly recommended reading for those who spend (we like more or less) enough time in the kitchen, which is common in houses with children.

All the chapters seem advisable to me, such as "Food recommendations: how to plan a healthy diet" or the "Design of a balanced, suggestive and healthy weekly menu", as well as tips for buying different types of food.

In addition, in each chapter they offer us interesting data such as those related to the problem of childhood obesity in Spain, or the importance of the family in the acquisition of eating habits ...

If I had to highlight some more related to our theme they would be: "Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Special needs", "Special needs of children", "Food-nutritional education at home" or the "Decalogue of safety in the kitchen", which we talked about a few days ago.

The "Healthy Eating Guide" of the SENC It has 105 pages of interesting content that we can consult in pdf. from the website of the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN), an easy and accessible reading for those parents concerned about feeding their children.
