Rice with chicken liver. A classic recipe in the feeding of the little ones

However, many fathers and mothers are reluctant to prepare them for their children, when it is a food that they eat great and that is really great. For that reason, today we are going to prepare a delicious rice recipe with chicken liver They will love it.

Ingredients for 2 dishes

  • 50 g of rice, 2 tablespoons of fried tomato, 1/2 scallion and 300 g of fresh chicken livers

How to make rice with chicken liver

We clean the livers well removing the telillas they may have and bleach them leaving them a few hours in cold water, changing the water every half hour. Once clean we start cooking.

Since rice is what takes the longest, we start by cooking it in a saucepan with plenty of water and a little salt, not too much that children should not give them much. When the water is boiling add the rice and let it cook for 20 minutes.

Chop the onion very very thin into very small pieces and put them in a pan with two tablespoons of olive oil. We incorporate the livers and let them go outside, flipping them from time to time.

Add the fried tomato and stir well, crushing the livers a little with the spoon so that they open and undo a little, amalgamating with tomato and onion, making a kind of pasta. Then we add the white rice once cooked and mix, serving immediately.

As you can see in the first image, both Paula of almost 3 years and Teo of 1 and 3 months, ate this rice with liver whose flavor they love because it reminds them of fuagrás and rice with tomatoes in a fun mix. It was the first day they tried it because my sister had never done it and they ate it in a little while. Aren't you going to try it at home?
