Echoes of Silence It is a great initiative that helps people understand that healthy and deaf children have only one difference, the language they use. For this reason, deaf children at the Carlos S. Langenegger school in El Salvador will invite anyone who wants to interpretation that they will perform through the language of the signs of some songs.
This is the first music festival, Echoes of Silence. This initiative also tries to reach the entire population because there are parents of deaf children who do not even know that there are special schools for them.
The one who attends this festival, will be able to enjoy the interpretation of the national anthem of El Salvador in the language of the signs, in addition to some other songs. Sign language is undoubtedly a great way to communicate worldwide. Unlike the other languages spoken, this language is practically identical in the rest of the countries, saving a few small differences of course.
Learning methods for deaf children have evolved significantly in Western countries, in fact children in the future can perfectly qualify for university careers and perform many functions. In other parts of the world they have not yet reached this level, but with the necessary help they will surely arrive and will be given these decent and adequate learning conditions.
