"Happy Parenting", new book by Rosa Jové

There are people who impact you deeply and in a conversation they are able to go around your world. The author of this book is one of those people for me. With "Happy Parenting", the new book by Rosa Jové I have the hope and the conviction that many families will be able to enjoy the privilege that I had, that someone serene and prepared explains to you that "we cannot begin to educate the children without the conviction that they have the same rights as we, the adults".

Once you get to internalize this conviction, your whole vision of parenting and the world takes a turn and you must relearn to think. Your relationships with the child should be established from that point of view, the equal rights.

The theory is simple. But what about the practice?

Many of the parenting practices and customs that society accepts as immovable patterns are seen with different eyes. You would neither cheat an adult, nor let him cry without comfort, nor insult him or make fun of him from a position of power, nor void his will in the name of obedience to the power of the strongest. You want to change and treat your child with the same respect and dignity that adults receive no matter how much you have not seen it in your environment.

This book aims to be a support in this way and to explain many of the things we do not know in relation to parenting: the limits and how to determine them, jealousy between brothers and how to deal with them, tantrums and swear words, the best way to get there to leave the diaper ...

The explanations that Rosa Jové He will always give us the respect of the child as a person with full rights and with the idea that they are neither tyrants, nor manipulate us, nor do they have to be tamed so that they do not get out of hand. They are people who will respond positively to love and understanding.

Rosa Jové is a child psychologist and a graduate in history, as well as the author of the basic "manual" to understand the natural process that is the child's dream, "Sleep without tears." Now, with this work, "Happy parenting"Surely it will help many families to raise a new concept of respect for their, no doubt, beloved children.
