"When a mom becomes a superheroine"

With this motto "When a mom becomes a superheroine" and this impressive logo presents an act performed by the Argentine Milk League, sponsored by the deputy Morales Gorleri whose involvement in the promotion of breastfeeding we have already spoken on other occasions.

Every year the World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated worldwide, coordinated by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding (WABA) and aimed at promoting the practice of breastfeeding. This year's motto is: "In crisis and emergencies, breastfeeding saves lives."

Breast milk nourishes and protects babies, because it is safe and contains antibodies that no other milk, or any other food, have.

For this reason, to make a call of attention to society on the issue that highlights the motto of World Week, the League of La Leche Argentina summons a "tetada" that will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at 3:00 p.m., in the Palace of the City Legislature, Salon San Martín, Peru 160, Buenos Aires.

The act will speak Dr. Monica Waisman and Dr. Eduardo Tognetti. In addition, an actress characterized as the poster's super-mother will interpret humor texts about breastfeeding.

Simultaneously a group of mothers will breastfeed their babies generating an image of strong visual impact, which can be disseminated on television and graphic media.

The truth is that the poster is very impressive, but deep down it reflects a true reality, in an emergency that a mother is breastfeeding the baby and does not depend on artificial milk or sterilized water is a guarantee for the survival of her child. All mothers would give their lives for their children, in reality all are potential heroines, but breastfeeding can turn them into superheroines save your child's life and even other babies in danger.
