Playing with children every day is essential for their development

The routine in which we find ourselves submerged daily makes us forget the importance of spending a little time every day to play with our children.

Childhood play is essential, it is the way children have fun but they also learn and our support in that learning is extremely beneficial to establish a bond between parents and children, that's why Playing with our children every day is essential for their development.

Children feel loved, cared for and that are important to us when we share activities with them. It is like a way of telling them "I care about you", a bridge of mutual understanding between them, leaving out obligations and schedules.

To play together it is not essential to do it with a toy, you can also invent games, songs, read stories, dance, play hands, tongue twisters, dress up, etc. Any form is valid when the end is to share a good time.

The game thus becomes a pleasant and relaxed way of communicating with our children. We become part of that fantastic world that is for them the game, putting us at their height, accompanying them, at their side.

As I say above, the game is not just entertainment. Through play, children have fun but also learn, express emotions, socialize, learn to solve situations.

It is not difficult to find a place in the daily routine to play at least 20 minutes every day with our children. We can organize for dinner faster and leave a while to play before bed, reserve a time in the afternoon for the games you like or even take the trip to school to invent a game.

For babies, games are pampering, caresses, smiles, reading them a book. What they need, both babies and older children, is to feel that we are there, that we love them, pay attention to them and enjoy their company.

Of course, at least those minutes, we should turn off the TV, mobile phones and set aside any other distractions to focus exclusively on our children. You will enjoy it as much as they do.
