Small (and older) Lego lovers will be interested to know that the famous characters of the brand will jump to the big screen. Warner Bros has announced that Lego toys movie is prepared, his first feature film.
The film will arrive in animated format and in 3D, and will be released in theaters in the United States in February 2014.
The film is in the production phase, but we know that it will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller from a screenplay by the latter. Both have previously worked together in 'Rain of meatballs', a very funny movie with a nomination for the Golden Globes awards, which promises.
The story will feature some of the most popular Lego characters, the simplest pieces of the Danish manufacturer, but they will also introduce new faces to participate in an adventure movie that will mix animation and real action.
It is not the first movie created from toys, although generally the formula is the other way around: the movie comes out first and then the toys. We will see what happens in this case.
