A couple of parents adopt six brothers who had been in orphanages for five years

Steve Anderson-McLean and Rob Anderson-McLeande, a couple from Pennsylvania, United States, officially became last May 23 in adoptive parents of six brothers who had been in orphanages for five years.

Both had raised children from previous marriages, aged 25 and 21, but wanted to have more children and decided to explore adoption. Now they are also parents of Carlos, 14, Guadalupe, 13, Maria, 12, Selena, 10, NASA, 9 and Max, 7.

Steve said he and her husband were inspired to adopt siblings after watching a story on television about another couple who did the same.

"A lot of brothers are divided and that broke our hearts," said the parents.

Knowing that terrible reality, they thought they should do something about it, so the couple looked for a group of brothers to adopt, and that's how they found the brothers in Ohio, where they had been in orphanages for 1,640 days.

“We instantly fell in love. They are very easy to make them smile, ”said Steve. “They had a sad story, there was negligence and abuse. It was in the fall of 2017 when the rights of the parents were canceled. ”

The couple of parents was paired with the children in June 2018, and a month later the six brothers went to live with them. And now, in less than a year, they have been officially adopted and bear the last name Anderson-McLean.

One of the parents added his six "new children" in his family tattoo. A story that ended with a happy ending for the brothers, and that will allow them to grow together.
