Video: girl translates her Christmas function into sign language for her deaf parents to understand

The last video that is going around the world on YouTube is this one girl who simultaneously translates her Christmas function into sign language so that her parents, deaf, could understand her.

The video of this little girl has already more than six million views.

Little Claire Koch, just five years old, didn't want her parents to miss their Christmas role at school, since they are both deaf. While the rest of her classmates accompany the carols with generic gestures, she interpreted the lyrics of the song in sign language.

The mother, who recorded the video, did not know that the girl had made that decision. Claire has no hearing problems but in her house they mainly use sign language because although her father can read her lips, her father does not.

For Claire's mother, this video is a demonstration to the world that children raised by deaf parents can perfectly develop their communication with other people and even enrich themselves with the mastery of another language.

It is complicated to watch the video without getting excited with the little girl, who even makes complicit gestures to her parents who record it.
