Highlights in Babies and more: October 20-26

Today Monday, as every week, we bring you a summary with the highlights of the week, in these days when we approach the party of the Castañada or Magosto, or Halloween if we look more at what is celebrated on the other side of the puddle.

We started with the strange news of the performance by Facebook, which censored the image of a baby being born because it was considered pornography and also blocked our Babies page and more, on Facebook, for talking about it.

Speaking also of things that happen on the net, where there are usually quite a lot of debates related to motherhood, we have explained that the last and hottest is the confrontation between fertile and infertile mothers.

We have told you that it can be fun to celebrate Halloween, but that we must do it with caution, so that it is a safe celebration with children.

In reference to the feeding of children, we have talked about networks or anti-choking devices, to give us our opinion about them and discuss whether they are a success or a failure.

We have talked about shoes and children's development about shoes and we have broken the old myth that says children should wear shoes that fix the ankle. In addition, we have explained to what extent it is correct or not to use with our children shoes worn by other children.

On childhood, on how we educate and treat them, we have published an entry that gives much debate and gives thought, for the accompanying video: What if children were the ones who chose their parents?

We have also talked about the obsession with the screens of some children, in this case of television, and what we can do if they spend too much time in front of it.

Finally, and again to show how important it is to support women and help them to breastfeed their babies, we have explained that breastfeeding reduces the risk of breast cancer.

We hope that this week the contents of Babies and more find them interesting, enjoyable and practical. We will work to make it happen.
