Recipe of roasted chicken thighs with orange juice

Today I want to show you a great Recipe of roasted chicken thighs with orange juice that although it is suitable for children because of the tenderness of the meat and incorporating fruit, moms and dads will also like it, so we can say that it is good for the whole family.

When you prepare this recipe, you can use other chicken prey if you prefer them as breasts in pieces or contramuslos and the result will be equally delicious. You can also make variations of the recipe with other meats like rabbit, turkey or even pork tenderloin.

Ingredients for 4 children or two adults

  • 4 chicken thighs, two onions, 4 oranges, salt and olive oil

How to make roasted chicken drumsticks with orange juice

We prepare a juice with the four oranges and pass it to a saucepan. We chop one onion in julienne (in threads) and the other in brunoise (in small squares). We put the onion in julienne in the baking dish and on it we place the 4 chicken thighs.

We add some Orange pulp sticks left in the juicer between each piece of chicken as you can see in the third image of the collage to add flavor. Pepper and add a tablespoon of olive oil and put in the oven to roast for 30 minutes at 180º.

After 15 minutes, we turn the chicken slices and let them continue roasting. It will seem that they have barely been cooked but Be patient that there is still a while. While the thighs are cooking the other 15 minutes, we put the other onion in a pan and we poach it until it begins to change color.

Add the tablespoon of flour and juice, letting that sauce simmer for about ten minutes until it begins to thicken. We open the oven, we go back to chicken slices and add the reduced sauce allowing the chicken and onion to finish cooking in the oven with the sauce for another 15 minutes.
