An 8-year-old boy wanted to learn how to make up and his mother gave him a lesson with a professional make-up artist

The world is changing, in many ways for bad, I have no doubt, but in many others for good, because today's parents are showing much more liberal as for the preferences of their children of what ours were.

An 8 year old boy wanted to learn how to make up and when the most common thing in many houses would have been to try to take the idea out of his head by offering other alternatives, explaining that makeup and makeup is something that women do basically or simply a "yes, some men make up, but wait and eventually you'll see if you want to do it or not ", his mother gave him a lesson with a professional make-up artist.

The boy's name is Ethan Wilwert and his dream, today, is to become a professional makeup artist. His mother, Season, decided to fully support him in his dream and offer him a gift to start with it: a makeup lesson with Emmy-nominated stylist Joey Killmeyer.

The makeup artist worked on one side of his face so that Ethan could see how he did it and then gave him the tools to make him the other side. The boy enjoyed it so much, he had such a good time, that his mother said, as we read in Bored Panda, that he didn't remember the last time he saw him so happy and self-confident. His passion was such that there were even customers in the establishment who asked that it was the child who put on makeup.

Killmeyer himself shared the story on his Facebook

Joey Killmeyer, the makeup artist, shared Ethan's story on Facebook and did not hesitate to show his admiration for the child and the mother:

He did sooooo great. He is a very talented boy and I hope he is a great artist in life. He was so excited that his mother told me that it gave him confidence to let him be himself (...) This shows me that the world is changing with respect to when he was his age and that there is hope for children who are different. And if he is gay or not, who knows. But I respect the mother very much for letting him be himself and discovering who he is and what he wants to do in life.

The mother's look says it all

The mother also explained that Doing the makeup course does not define your gender identity or sexual preference, because he is only a child who is exploring his tastes and desires and that they as parents should simply encourage him to fulfill them.

And in any case, to take a course or not define him sexually is irrelevant, because it does not change anything. A child is not gay for doing such a course and it is not if he does not. In fact, it doesn't matter if it is or ceases to be. He is a child with an illusion and a mother making it possible.

That's why what I'm staying with and what we should all stay with is with the look of the mother, who says it all. And I do not mean his look in this photo, but in which we can imagine seeing him being made up and putting on makeup when he says that "I don't remember the last time I saw him so happy and sure of himself." How to deny him something like that?
