The emotional Christmas song for a premature baby sung by two ICU nurses

When nothing goes as expected and a premature baby comes into your life time seems to stop. Your life happens to be aware of that little being who is struggling to survive day after day in an incubator, oblivious to celebrations and special dates such as Christmas.

Two ICU nurses from a Toronto hospital in Canada, They wanted to bring a little Christmas to premature babies by singing emotional songs like the one we can hear next.

Nurses Marieneth Montenegro and Lisa Sampson sang a beautiful version of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” (Have a happy little Christmas), very appropriate to comfort those little great fighters who come to the world ahead of time.

Every year 15 million premature babies are born in the world and many of them must be admitted to intensive care until they are strong to go home with their parents. While still getting fat and growing, the time they remain in the ICU is key to their recovery.

It is important at this time to value the work of nurses who care for babies day and night with all their dedication. While it is recommended, and essential, that parents can stay with their children for 24 hours, it is the health professionals who take care of them, nurses who put all their love to help these little fighters get ahead.
