Unfortunately, it is a fairly common domestic accident. In the United States, every thirty minutes a child is injured (sometimes very seriously), and every ten days one dies due to the fall of a television or a piece of furniture on top of them.
The scene we can see next happened in Thailand. The security camera was on and caught the distressing moment in which we see a boy playing open the drawers when suddenly he opens the last one, the chest of drawers destabilizes and comes over. Fortunately, he has been able to dodged it and avoids getting trapped underneath.
It could have been a real tragedy not only for the child, but also if his younger brother, whom we see behind, had been playing with him. Next we see how the mother, surely alerted by the noise, goes down the stairs and meets the tragic scene. Luckily, there has been no damage and ends up hugging the child to comfort him. What a fright it will have taken!
Home accidents are the leading cause of child mortality, and although not all, many of them can be prevented if we take simple safety measures in our home.
Especially if we have small children at home, we must take all necessary precautions. They are small, eager to discover the world around them and are not yet aware of the dangers they face.
Chests of drawers are especially tempting because they use the drawers to climb, the furniture loses stability and falls on them.

It is not the first time we have warned about similar accidents involving young children. We were especially moved by the one in which a two-year-old baby saves his twin brother from being crushed by a chest of drawers when a chest of drawers falls on him.

Therefore, you must take these recommendations to avoid accidents:
Make sure furniture is stable and well fixed to the wall with an anchor system If you have small children at home.
TVs should only be placed on stands or furniture specially designed for this, otherwise they should be anchored to the wall by means of straps.
Remove items from the furniture that may tempt children to climb, such as toys and remote controls.
Install anti-tip devices on all home furniture that may pose a danger to your baby.
