Remember that large families fall into two categories:
general: composed of three or more children (or two children if one of them has a disability, if there is a disability in one of the parents, or there is a widower with two children)
Special: composed of five or more children (or four children if certain economic requirements are met, or three children if one of them has a disability and certain economic requirements are met)
So, the measure would affect families with four children (those that exceed the minimum number of children established to be considered general category) and with six children or more (those that exceed the minimum number of children established to be considered special category).
In this way, the large families with four general category children They would receive an aid of 150 euros per month from the fourth child, if it is decided to collect in advance. If, on the contrary, it is decided to request this deduction when making the declaration of income, the amount would increase by 600 euros more per year, from 1,200 to 1,800 euros.
From the sixth child, the deduction for large family would amount to 250 euros per month, or if you choose to request the deduction when making the income statement, the amount would go from 2,400 to 3,000 euros.
