Good nutrition and proper care influence growth much more than genes

On how many occasions have we heard that a child will be as tall as his father, we have always associated genetics with the height that a child can have. Well, a study by the WHO (World Health Organization), provides adequate guidance for any child in any country, can grow properly regardless of race or genetic values.

The place of birth, race or genetic weight are not as important when it comes to growing as is proper nutrition and optimal care, all can be developed in the same way at the time that the two basic rules are met, good food and proper care. The new international growth pattern reveals this and shows us interesting data on the proper way of growth. Thanks to the study initiated in 1997 by WHO in which 8,000 children with optimal growth conditions participated, today we can see the surprising results that indicate whether genetics or good nutrition and care weighs more.

Undoubtedly, the lifestyle is fundamental and affects an adequate development, although as things are in the world, getting everyone to develop properly is today a titanic task due to the lack of collaboration, political problems, etc. ., but there is the study that shows that good nutrition and proper care influence growth much more than genes.
