First we talked about the impossibility of babies being able to go by taxi without the seat with the new rules of the driving license for points, then they explained that it was allowed provided it was inside the town center. For some, everything was resolved, traffic informed taxi drivers that they would not lose points for taking children without a seat.
For us the issue is not resolved, even in the urban area, an accident can be found just around the corner and it can cause a real misfortune, which would be minimized in the case of forcing all taxi drivers to carry a retention chair. This is a solution for taxi drivers but not for potential customers, the question is, in case of accident, who is responsible? Will the taxi driver, insurance, the client or traffic, which is what allows it ?
The possible solution would be a completely safe, easily mountable and removable device that all taxi drivers should carry. Having a baby and riding in a taxi without the corresponding security for us would be crazy, we would not leave the life of our son at the mercy of destiny.
Traffic may say that it won't penalize taxi drivers, okay, but it could be sentencing our children putting their lives at risk. We are still waiting for the solution. What do you think about it?
