The reality of childhood cancer through photographs, The Future Exists

Until February 16 you can visit a photo exhibition itinerant located in downtown Don Diego de La Solana (Castilla-La Mancha) under the title The future exists, the photographs reflect the day-to-day life of children suffering from cancer, the work of health specialists and everything that surrounds this disease. This is an exhibition organized jointly by the Association of Families of Children with Cancer in Castilla-La Mancha (Afanion) and the Cultural Center Don Diego de La Solana.

The images are clear and direct messages that reach the heart, the daily life of these children is reflected in such a way that we can see through their faces, pain, isolation, but also joy, hope, daily struggle., etc. Many of the aspects that can only be known in depth if we are part of the life of the affected child, are shown through photographs to everyone.

Each photographic image is supported by a comment from the author Tino Soriano, a renowned photographer who has worked in several prestigious magazines and publications. Comments full of solidarity and tenderness that seek to raise awareness of those who contemplate the photographs. The words of this great photographer express a feeling and a palpable reality through images, "in the same way that certain social groups direct their knowledge to heal and relieve, a photographer can also contribute to improving the quality of life when provided with a simple machine and a roll of film, decides to take a look at life, using the eye of his camera and shooting with the heart. "

The exhibition tries to improve the quality of life of children suffering from cancer, trying to sow sensitivity among the population, certainly a laudable task.
