The essentials for the spring-summer wardrobe of the pregnant woman

Without wanting to emulate my fellow Trainees, fashion is a topic that excites me and I dare to give advice to future moms that this summer will look tummy.

I honestly don't like typical maternity clothes; I prefer to wear large garments, although recently we have had the good news of the new collection of clothes for pregnant women from Zara, which also does not have the typical model panzones, instead the necessary basics.

Of course, being pregnant does not mean that you have to completely renew your wardrobe.

But I do believe that there are some essential garments which are a "must have" of this Spring-summer season that can not be missing in the closet of a future mom.

  • A dress: plain or patterned, casual but elegant in a light fabric. It can be crossed, so next year you can also use it without a belly.

  • A pirate cowboy: you can't miss it, they sell it at Zara. It has elastic at the waist but a modern cut that enhances the figure and not the typical pregnant model that makes a horrible butt.

  • Dress pants: with a black one you will be sure. It can be short, even shorts that will be worn a lot, or long to the ankle.

  • A skirt: my favorite are the cowgirls, but they can be the ones that have elastic at the waist, a larger pair of sizes. And if you dare, there is not like a good mini. Being pregnant doesn't mean you can't wear legs.

  • T-shirts: essential to complement both jeans, pants and skirt. This season there are very cute models with cuts under the chest, ideal for tummy. Buy them a size larger than usual.

  • Finally, the swimsuits. You can't spoil your look of modern mom with a pregnant swimsuit with bows that looks like grandma's. You can see my recommendations from last year about swimsuits.
