Sana Sana Program, of the Solidarity Childhood Foundation

One of the solidarity programs that deserves all kinds of praise and special attention is the Sana Sana program of the NGO Solidarity Children. As we know, many children in the third world suffer many health problems, some can be treated in the same country but others need the attention of specialists and European technology. A complicated operation cannot be performed in some countries due to lack of resources and personnel, this is where Sana Sana intervenes.

The program is responsible for bringing these children to Spain so they can be intervened in hospitals in the country, especially in those that contemplate solidarity and selfless collaboration, we must mention the case of Lesly, a baby who suffered from a congenital malformation since his birth and that thanks to the program, the eminent cardiologist Enrique Maroto of the General University Hospital Gregorio Marañón and the entire team of the cardiology unit, Lesly has been able to recover completely. What is really surprising about the case is that this baby was rejected by several American clinics and agencies that did not want to take care of her illness and were not moved by the mother's pleas and supplications to save her baby. The problem was really serious since the congenital malformation that Lesly suffered had to be remedied before she was one year old or else she would die.

At eight months of age, only four months separated the line of life and death, but thanks to the NGO Solidarity Childhood and Spanish altruism, Lesly can smile and be happy with her mother. We realize that those who can do the most are those who grant less, if the altruism of the world were increased, only 1%, thousands of children could be saved.
