3 year old girl forgotten in an airport

I still do not get astonished to learn the story of an Israeli family (parents and four children) that has boarded a plane at Tel Aviv airport without realizing that the 3-year-old daughter was not with them. The saddest thing is that they just realized within 45 minutes of taking off just because the captain told them.

Leaving a child is not like forgetting your glasses on the table. We who are responsible parents feel that we are missing something when we go out without children, so I cannot understand how someone can forget a child somewhere.

Having five children is no excuse. Apparently the girl was forgotten in the duty-free, did not realize that was missing when leaving the store? Didn't they notice when embarking that a ticket was left over? And when sitting on the plane, either?

Unfortunately, it is not the only case of negligence we have heard. Children forgotten in the nursery, in the car seat, or worse, in the trunk of the car are some of the stories that the media occupy.

There are those who argue that a dismissal cannot be compared in a routine circumstance such as the case of children forgotten in the car with a specific situation such as that of a plane trip. In any case, it is delectable.

Do you think parents should be accused of neglect for these situations?
