Lactation room at the Mass of the Family

I do not intend to generate a religious debate, or political, much less, that the press is already in charge of that. If it was a political act or a party, if you exclude some and offend others ... this is not what we are interested in discussing in a baby blog. I simply want to highlight an initiative that I think is great, which has also been done last year and has gone almost unnoticed amid so much background noise.

The organizers of the Mass of the Family celebrated yesterday in Madrid have been responsible for installing behind the cross a lactation booth in the place of the act so that the mothers who breastfeed and those who give the bottle they could feed their babies with complete peace of mind. It had a microwave to heat the baby's bottle or food, changing tables to clean the baby and chairs where to sit and give the bottle or breast for the convenience of mothers, fathers and babies.

When there are still many public places such as shopping centers, restaurants and entertainment venues that lack a space to do so, it has seemed very good that in an act attended by many families with young children it was done. No matter if it was a religious act or a musical show, the important thing is that someone thought that babies should have a cozy space to be changed and fed. I hope it serves as an example.
