Homosexual animals adopt

You are right. The adoption by gay couples, which has given so much to talk about, is not something that is only in humans. A few days ago the beautiful story of two male penguins that they are a couple and that they have adopted a breeding rejected by the biological parents.

Z and Vielpunk, both males, are two Humbold penguins that live in the Bremerhamer Zoo in Germany. After several visicitudes, the caregivers accepted their sexual condition and stopped trying to redirect them to heterosexuality. Finally they were offered an egg that had been abandoned by the biological parents and the couple happily assumed the role of new parents.

They hatched the egg like the rest of the couples and the little one, who was born a month ago, has now filled them with joy. They take care of him and feed him with tenderness and continuously worry about him.

I loved the story. This couple has shown not only that homosexuality is normal among some animal species, but that it is also perfectly accepted by the rest of the species' congeners. Something that humans have much to learn.

The chick is growing in a home where its emotional and material needs are covered by the parents couple That has touched them. And there is nothing to say against this, as there is nothing to say about human children receiving love and attention from their parents, whatever their sexual condition.
