Mashed potatoes curry. Recipe for pregnant women

This recipe we present today, mashed potatoes curryWe recommend it above all as an accompaniment to a grilled steak, either meat or fish. It is a mash with a lot of flavor, different from the traditional one for its exotic touch, and that can encourage our careful menu a little.

It gives us an extra in calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and vitamins A and B6

The ingredients

500 grams of potatoes, 1/2 glass of whipping cream, 1 clove of garlic, 2 sprigs of fresh oregano, 1 bay leaf, 1/2 teaspoon of curry, oil, salt and water.

Curry mashed potatoes preparation

Peel the potatoes, chop it and put them in a pot.

Peel the garlic and add it to the same pot, next to the bay leaf, the oregano sprig, a splash of oil and a pinch of salt.

Add enough water and cook. Let cook for about 30 minutes or until tender.

Drain the water, remove the garlic and bay leaf, and put the cooked potatoes in a blender glass, next to the cream and curry. Crush until mashed with the consistency we like.

Tasting

We can serve the mashed potatoes curry, in a bowl accompanied by some slices of bread.

If we do not have fresh oregano, we can replace it with fresh rosemary, or we can also use dried herbs.
