Retired Halloween costumes and accessories for dangerous

Dressing up on Halloween has become a must for many children, either because they ask for it at school, or because parents want it. But you have to be careful when choosing the costume and it does not become a danger. In Spain, the Consumer authorities have ordered so far this year the 17 models of insecure masks, wigs and costumes on the market.

The main reasons for removing a costume are the risk of suffocation when wearing laces in the neck area, something that is prohibited in clothing intended for young children, or that does not meet the legal requirements regarding flammability, involving burn risks. Specifically, 11 of the 17 recalled products ignite easily and 6 have cords that can cause strangulation.

These ads are repeated every year, either on Halloween or Carnival. The bad thing is that many of those items supposedly removed still on the shelves of shops, because it is very difficult to control its distribution and sale after leaving the factory or past the borders.

The articles on which this year weigh withdrawal orders are four masks, three wigs and a beard-wig and nine costumes. Here we have the complete list of recalled products What Facua offers:

I am surprised to find in this list products that do not even have a brand, it is not that they are of an unknown brand, it is not known where they came from. How does such a product reach the store and reach the consumer? Anyway, we have to be cautious and demanding when choosing the costume of the little ones if we don't want to get a real scare on Halloween
