The Medulín family, cut-out dolls for leukemia

The Josep Carreras Leukemia Foundation has launched a playful and informative initiative that consists of cut-out paper toys representing the Medulín family. These nice dolls can make us have a good time with our children.

Cut-out figures designed for hospitalized children but that we can print, cut and assemble a house to explain the history of the Medulín family to the little ones.

Medulín is the little one who is in the hospital because of leukemia. And who are the other family members? The parents, his sister Lucia, the flea cat and even a stuffed koala. All these dolls can be built in a simple way thanks to some cut-out templates.

We talked to you a while ago about another initiative of the Foundation, paper hearts against leukemia, and now again the manual work with paper brings us these new figures.

In the pdf document. which contains the cut-out figures, the presentation of Medulín, the sick child who is in the hospital, is offered and explains a little about his illness. In the end we found a blank cut-out doll for children to draw themselves and have their own personalized doll.

I encourage you to make these paper dolls with your children as a fun solidarity craft With leukemia It is not bad to have fun while learning and becoming aware of the situation of sick people.
