Stories of mothers: "I didn't want to know what sex my baby was during pregnancy"

One more day we bring you one of the mothers stories that you are sending us on the occasion of the celebration of Mother's Day.

Today is the turn of Elsa María, Josué's mother, 3 years and 7 months, who explains how the story of her pregnancy was.

The story of my pregnancy is happy and full of anguish at the same time. It was my third pregnancy, I had already lost 2 babies, 2 and 1 month of gestation. With my second pregnancy, my left fallopian tube was removed because it was an ectopic pregnancy and they told me that it would cost me to get pregnant again.

Until 6 years of my second loss when, without taking care of myself, I became pregnant with my Joshua. I was a month and a half late when I went to get a pregnancy test and it came out positive.

After this I went with my gynecologist and she, by my background, sent me to do an ultrasound. I had a lot of fear and doubts about the possibility of my previous losses happening to me. She read the ultrasound result and told me that the baby was very well placed in my womb and that I enjoyed my pregnancy. Indeed, the delivery was beautiful, luckily I did not know of dizziness, nausea, or any symptoms.

On October 1, 2006 at 1 in the afternoon I started with pain and after 4 hours of labor and having broken my doctor's bag, my beautiful Joshua was born, without any complications, thank God.

I did not want to know what sex my baby was during pregnancy, until she was born, it was like confirming my desire to have a boy, God granted me the desire of my heart after my previous 2 losses.

My baby is my greatest treasure, he is already 3 years 7 months old, he has been a very healthy child, he is naughty and intelligent; Being a mom has been the most beautiful, happiest and most rewarding experience of my life. Seeing him sleep beside me, I never tire of thanking God for this beautiful being he granted me. I breastfed him for 2 years 1 month, to this I attribute the success of his health and I recommend to all mothers 100% to breastfeed their babies, apart from the excellent health they have, the bond of love and protection between mother is more noticeable and son.

Thank you my heaven, for existing and making me so happy.

We thank Elsa María for explaining how it went. Joshua's arrival, and of course we thank all the mothers for the beautiful stories that you have sent us and that have served to celebrate Mother's Day and especially to share a day dedicated to children.
