The school fees (tuition) of public schools in Madrid, for children from zero to three years old, It will be totally free from next year 2019-2020. This has been announced by the City Council of Madrid, and will affect a total of 69 centers and 8,768 families.

Since he began his term, Manuela Carmena has increased the number of daycare centers in Madrid. Soon new centers will be inaugurated until the 13 schools announced by the mayor are completed, and they will come to join the 56 already existing ones.

The newly built schools, and in which nearly 27 million euros have been invested, are located in the districts of Fuencarral - El Pardo (three), Moncloa-Aravaca (two), Hortaleza (two), and one in Moratalaz , Usera, Arganzuela, Villaverde, Centro and Retiro.
