Puddle Jumper, original float with sleeves for the first swimmers

Both on the beach and in the pool you have to look for the safety of the kids at all times, and a help for fun and water safety is this original “float” with sleeves, Puddle Jumper, a novel product that is designed to help the buoyancy of children in swimming learning.

It is a float of the Sevylor brand, manufacturer of water products, which has an exterior in colorful prints to choose from (pink, yellow, blue or green) and an interior of floating material (it is made with PVC free of any toxic component ), solid and resistant, which helps the child stay safe in the water.

The float, covered with a soft fabric, surrounds the chest part and fastens to the back with an adjustable buckle. From this curved blade that adapts to the trunk the sleeves come out towards the arms, which it allows the kids to practice their first "lengths", by making the chest also stay afloat more easily.

My three and a half year old daughter doesn't even remember to take it out of the water. From what we have tried, it allows a natural movement and greater freedom to swim and explore, both face up and face down, standing or in places where it covers, always with the help of parents, of course.

And, although it is an approved product and used as a life jacket in the United States (it has several versions, also for adults), the instruction booklet already says: does not protect from drowning, it should only be used under constant surveillance.

Puddle Jumpers are not inflatable, so, although they occupy more, they are always prepared to put them on the kids and there is no risk of puncture. Of course, unlike traditional floats and inflatable sleeves, to dry it needs to lie or be exposed to air and / or sun, since the material is soaked and it is not possible to drain it.

The Puddle Jumper, this original float with sleeves for the first swimmers, fits children between 15 and 30 kilos, and its recommended price is 17.81 euros.
