The more eyes there are, the more guarded are the children?

If something falls under the surveillance of the eyes of Argos is that it is very safe and controlled, since this mythological giant has a hundred eyes that take turns at the time of resting, to be always attentive. Or so it should be. But many experiences and popular knowledge call into question that The more eyes there are, the more watched the children are.

But I wasn't with you? No, with him. With me? No, with her! But if the last time I saw him I was with you ... And so the responsibility passes from one to another, because We trust, we lower our guard, and the child is at home at ease (or worse, by the restaurant, the park ...).

It shouldn't be that way, of course, because a second of distraction can be fatal when we talk about little explorers who don't know fear and are exposed to multiple risks. And surely you have heard fatal stories in this regard.

Accidents cause many infant deaths a year, and many of them are the result of carelessness, of distractions, which can happen to all of us, yes, although sometimes they are incomprehensible and clearly scratch or fall into the imprudent.

But usually a good group of friends or family get together, and sooner or later we let our guard down, we feel safe, clothed, confident that if I don't see it, another one sees it (which is who I was with before), or confident that the child keeps watching that movie, or drawing quietly ... Until we ask or look carefully around and we realize that the little ones are not where we thought.

Luckily, risk situations do not usually occur, as I believe that distraction is also inversely proportional to the degree of knowledge and security that the environment offers us. Surely it is at home where more misunderstanding occurs and not on the beach or in an unknown place, no matter how large the group that joins and many eyes are watching. Or so I want to weigh.

And after some scare (hopefully he stays in that), I'm sure the hundred eyes of Argos stretch again and do not detach from the little. In case next time it goes to more, that nobody likes to talk about imprudence, and in these cases the only reckless would be the greatest, of course.
