Parents take more care of children because of the crisis

I like to always see the glass half full, so, despite the circumstances, I think it is a positive consequence that parents take care of children more because of the crisis.

Unemployment affects men more than women, and one of the side effects of them not working outside the home or working less, is that in many families parents they have taken care of the children themselves.

They pick up the children at school, help them with their homework, take them to the pediatrician, take walks, play games, prepare food, attend meetings at the nursery or at school ...

In short, they take more care of their children and spend more time with them than when they worked outside the home.

There will be all kinds of situations, and I don't want to say that running out of work is to be happy, but in some families they have had to adapt to a new situation that it results in the emotional benefit of the children.

The crisis is undoubtedly a time of adaptation. The key is knowing how to adapt to the new reality trying to get something positive.

In addition, children are an excellent therapy to cope with crisis times. Spending time together, getting involved in their games and being more aware of them helps to disconnect and reduce stress and worries.

Therefore, the situation is beneficial for both parties. Spending more time with children is positive for children, who need their parents, but it is also for them, because children help them overcome crisis times better.

After all, it may not be so bad that parents take care of children more because of the crisis.
