Ham & Cheese's proposals to save or play maracas and for children to sleep well cared for

The design proposed by Jordi Gisbert and Verónica Coloma, creators of I study Ham & Cheese, is a piggy bank that fulfills the function of being also maraca. The two young people have been working on the design since 2009. Their savings proposal is fun for children because as money gets in the maraca is producing a different sound which ensures fun for children. In any case it seems to me that they are fragile to play with them and what they propose is to be an object of design of the most elegant.

On the Ham & Cheese study page they indicate that music releases endorphins, which are the hormones responsible for providing us with a feeling of physical and mental well-being. His project was presented at the Valencia Disseny Week of the year 2011. And it is not the only piece dedicated to the children they have in the study, checking their website I have found Glob a prototype of a doll for children very fun and with an important mission.

And is that Veronica and Jordi, which live up to its name and create with a mixed sandwich style, have created Glob, a design designed to reduce the fears of children when they lie down and their imagination begins to fill the night with nightmares and dreams. Glob can be seen here:

Glob It is like any other stuffed animal, they have a body made of textile material and a synthetic filling to make it soft. The mask that it includes is of a resistant polymer that also allows customize it with the help of a penIn fact, it is what my daughter has told me when she has seen it, that she would paint a little face to make it more personal and human. For now it is a prototype made for the exhibition although it works perfectly. It can be viewed on its website.

I find Veronica and Jordi's proposals with Ham & Cheese very interesting and imaginative and we wish them many successes with their designs and proposals. Especially with those that aim to entertain children.
