And the most surprising moment, which left the children attending with their mouths open, was to see how the sand begins to fill with lions and lionesses that attack slaves, although obviously there is no danger and everything is perfectly calculated.
One of the things I liked most about the performance was how it the actors were integrated among the attendees. In many areas of the stands where the audience attends there were actors dressed as period cheering for the slaves and shouting at the Romans. The intensity and participation was such that it was very easy to get up and clap when the Gauls won and the Romans lost. A way to attend a very different show in which the immersion in the performance is very intense.
The whole performance is full of very well thought out details and in which the public feels very comfortable. Safety is very well resolved when wild beasts leave the arena. Although the Spanish translation of the show is improvable, everything that happens in the event can be followed perfectly. And there is no lack of humor, this includes a comic moment at the expense of the Roman emperor who made all the attendees laugh.
