Summary of the week from August 15 to 21 in Peques and More

You already know that in previous weeks some of these topics have been given from our blog: how to protect ourselves against high temperatures, our favorite summer activities, protection against mosquito bites and jellyfish… now it's time plan a little 'back to school' of our children.

So, while you continue taking baths with your children, you continue removing the homemade ice cream that you have made as a family, or you look for small insects in the garden for the children to draw them, we tell you what are the issues that have occupied us in Peques and More during the last days. We begin smoothly and decidedly to organize the return to the classroom (Although in my case I prefer that this matter falls on the backs of adults, so as not to overwhelm our children excessively), that is why - and addressed to all families who change schools - one of our posts is addressed to how to support the children who will be in this situation, and another to tell our readers that children should sleep well, and not only for the next, it also helps them in their development. And we also talk about school (this time with more negative connotations) when we say that Mexico occupies the first place in bullying.

The health of the smallest of the house matters to us regardless of the season or the temperature, and in these past days we have offered a reflection on 'how allergic children feel', and we have shared the news that the maximum level of melanin in infant milk has been established.

I think toys should be children's favorite objectsAnd speaking of toys, do you know the new Hot Wheels collection? And these pregnant rag dolls? And of course technological devices / applications are increasingly popular among children and adults: That is why it has been presented from our pages to 'maily' so that children receive email on our iPad, or the application to teach the kids of la Caixa to save. The proposals for iPhone / i Touch Press Pad can be addressed to the whole family.

As we offer every week news related to the world of childhood: as examples the development of a project aimed at children with autism, or Riojan teenagers who have won a Google Science contest. Surely many of you are interested in the show that Imaginarium will present soon, it is called 'It's musical'. And the news has given us another reason to rejoice, knowing the Twitter application that will detect cases of bullying in this social network.

Within seven days we meet again, closer to school but still eager to have fun with our kids. And by the way, for all of you who live in Valencia and have children over six years old, would you be interested in these workshops of ingenuity and logic?
