If I have to list any of the most useless gadgets I have discovered after being a mother, that is undoubtedly the monitor monitors babies. That's why I don't think that Baby Monitor All-in-one, the application to "monitor" the baby, I was very useful ... But here I present it for you to judge for yourself.
In short, it is an artificial "caregiver" that uses mobile device technology. The "Baby All-in-One" monitor allows you to use one or two Android phones to monitor the baby. The application has two modes.
If we have only one device (Android smartphone or tablet) we can use the "Kangaroo mode" or "Nanny Mode". We leave the phone next to the baby and it detects the room noises. When this occurs, the device randomly plays recordings or songs that we have previously chosen and that we believe can calm baby. Also, if the noises do not stop, then you will make a phone call to a number that we will have selected, and by activating the hands-free, we can hear the baby's noises, and we can also talk to you to relax you.
If we have two Android devices we can use the most complete mode, the "Walkie Talkie". One device is next to the baby and connected to it we have the other via Bluetooth or WiFi. We can listen to the baby at any time and talk to him.
Between the baby monitor functions Baby Monitor All-in-one there is the sensitivity setting of the detected noise and the audio volume. We reproduce the songs and recordings at the time that seems appropriate.
Why I do not like the app monitors babies
Sincerely I don't see the invention too useful, apart from the fact that we always carry the phone on it (unless we get over it) and we should leave it with the baby. And, although the application allows you to silence incoming calls, alarms ... I do not want to imagine the fright that the baby has to take if an unexpected call sounds in the middle of his dream ...
Anyway, on the floors of today, where it is already difficult not to hear the neighbors, how can we not listen to a baby in the next room ... Another thing is if we had a house with several wings or plants, but in that case, wouldn't it be better to have the baby close?
Surely our presence when we hear it will be much more reassuring to the baby than any recording ... I hope that the monitor is not successful even among those who think that having them in their arms is bad for them.
And that no one can think of leaving the baby alone, because, even if you try to approach them, this application does not replace the true caregivers, as it is prudently responsible for notifying us in the product description.
By last, I am particularly disturbed by the function of what we might call "emergency call", because it means that in no case do we listen to the baby, we are not close to him. Or are we going to call grandparents to talk to the baby from a distance?
