Play cutouts with designs inspired by artist David Bowie

David Bowie said the 80s belonged to Prince although it seems to me that what he really meant was that the 70s, 80s, 90s and even the new millennium belonged to him. And is that Bowie is one of the great stars of Rock and Roll which also continues to perform songs and music that continues to surprise and create fans of all ages. It is especially satisfying to know that young musicians continue to drink from the sources of the 60s and 70s that I think were among the most creative and innovative in music.

Bowie has recently published his latest work after 10 years and to celebrate it from the CBC (Canada music service) page they have published a fun cut-out with him as the protagonist that illustrates quite well everything that this artist has done in several decades and covers especially the music but also the cinema. The drawing allows to see from Ziggy Stardust to Labyrinth (labyrinth).

From the CBC page you can download the pdf file To, once printed, start using scissors and then play the cut-outs exchanging wigs, boots and costumes.

In addition to Bowie being an artist worth discovering, I recognize that I have begun to do so too late, his greatness is measured by what others are capable of doing with his work. And if you like music, experimentation and beck talent, to which I think the music of the decade of the 90s belongs, do not forget to take a look at this fantastic page where you can see Beck performing a really fascinating 360º exercise because it allows you to control with your face what it looks on the screen and it's a 360º stage with musicians while they make a version of Bowie's song Sound and vision.
