If you travel to Sardinia with children you cannot miss these beaches

I will share with you information that is not part (yet) of our personal experience, although soon I will be able to tell that I have visited some of these wonderful Sardinian beaches.

When we planned our holidays in Andorra, we hardly imagined that we were going to end up in Sardinia, and that the Pyrenees would stop being interested because this beautiful Mediterranean island offers many attractions for families.

It was all the product of a chance, or of destiny, but the fact is Now we are finalizing itineraries and tours, while the children are looking forward to their friends going to Italy, And to an island! (The little girl says she doesn't remember when we live in Mallorca, so it must be a novelty). They learn phrases in Italian in the conversation manual we have bought (although they know that Sardinian is also spoken there, and even Catalan - in the city of l'Alguer -)

The fact is that visiting the odd beach is almost mandatory if you go to an island, so we come across a couple of blog entries in Sardinia, which I wanted to share with you.

They tell us that the whole island offers wonderful coasts, and although the list would be almost endless, They offer us a good selection, with the aim of serving as a guide for families. Because it is a relationship of the best beaches in Sardinia for children.

Beaches of Southern Sardinia

They point out that in the southwest we will find the beach Sa Colonia With golden sand that offers many services to tourists, and is surrounded by accommodation. A short distance away is Tuerreda (classified by Tripadvisor as one of the 10 attractions of the island).

The Cagliari beach in Poetto, offers seven kilometers of sandy coastline and enjoy water sports for the whole family. Villasimius is characterized by white sands and shallow crystalline waters; and Costa Rei is easily accessible from anywhere in the town.

Beaches of Northern Sardinia

On the way to the North we find the Gulf of Orosei on the East Coast, full of beautiful beaches. Already in the northern area we can visit Cala Ginepro surrounded by a forest with pine trees and a small chringuito. The nearby accommodations are well organized.

We will stop now in San Teodoro, well known to the islanders, its beaches are very popular, and Cala Brandinchi is especially suitable for children. We will find the Magdalena archipelago to the northeast, a paradisiacal environment with an ideal destination for kids: il Cardellino.

To the west we will run into Stintino, in front of the Asinara National Park, there La Pelosa beach reveals its bright turquoise blue color. Tripadvisor has included this beach in second place of the best Italian beaches.

Already in Oristano, we are surprised by Putzu Idu, in front of the island of Mal di Ventre, which is a reserved maritime zone, it is a quiet beach at any season of the year.

If you travel to Sardinia enjoy its beaches, and take advantage of the rest of the charms of this island.
