Summary of the week from September 25 to October 1 in Peques y Más

If I had just arrived on a trip from the Antipodes right now, I would think that the change in latitude and the jet lag have wreaked havoc on my body and in my mind, because I find temperatures that touch (and even exceed) 30 degrees Started October, you can't say it's very normal.

But since I'm here and I'm not moving from here, I have to suffer the summer lengthening, and long for those celebrations of October 12 in which we are seen wearing a jacket and in front of a bonfire saying goodbye to the stay in the countryside (yes, we had a hard time accepting that one day of each year we would return the five - my parents and the 3 brothers - to the floor for the rest fall, and also for winter and spring).

And since it is very hot I understand that my children do not feel like going to school (it is not their preferred occupation anyway), and that we would all prefer to be in the river throwing stones, or visited an exhibition to shelter the cool rooms of a Museum. Well, I get to the point, and today we start our weekly summary with the leisure proposals we have brought to Peques y Más (the blog for families with children from five to 12 years old). We have announced the night of the researchers, the exhibition on Blas de Lezo, that one that commemorates the anniversary of Nancy; and we have even gone to Valencia to participate in some children's workshops that encourage creativity.

And as after all that, it was still hot, and we have little desire to work, we have read a couple of Percy Jackson books, and we have loved the cardboard toys of the company DCartón !. We also liked to announce the next premiere of the Tyl Tyl Theater, do you know him?

Anyway, after so many options to enjoy free time, I'm going to land a little, and to tell you that we've also talked about education, and about the pillars on which it should be based. We have questioned the homework, and shown the position of the teachers. One of the best entries in this sections is the presentation of the book "A REVOLUTION in the School" by Cristina Romero.

I am very happy to have given our readers the opportunity to meet M Angeles Miranda and Marga M Garriga, in two great interviews that have enriched our content.

The University of Valencia has collaborated in an investigation that corroborates that children are more at risk of suffering from hypertension in the future; and since we are on health issues, we have thought it would be good to clarify what foods and nutrients are, and the relationship between them.

I conclude with this simple craft that will not cost you to do: an accordion book to write stories or save memories, and with some tips for children to recover reading for pleasure. Until next week.
