Buying ALLEGRO you collaborate in the music therapy projects of the 'Porque Viven' Foundation

Last weekend “ALLEGRO” was presented, a book whose benefits derived from the sale, will go to the music therapy project of the 'Because They Live' Foundation, to help children who are treated at home by the Pediatric Palliative Care Unit of the Community of Madrid (at the Niño Jesús University Children's Hospital).

'Because they live' brings music therapy to the home environment, thus attending to the physical, cognitive and, above all, emotional needs of the children served and the people around them. "ALLEGRO" is a Illustrated album that is part of a social and cultural initiative to support music therapies, and has been edited by the content agency Mr. Garamont (also responsible for the “Up and Down” edition). It is a book that combines music and literature to raise awareness about the effectiveness of music therapy in children.

The author is Alfredo Gómez Cerdá, who has woven a brief history representing the efforts of an eight-year-old boy to return his sister's smile (with the invaluable help of Santa Claus and the indispensable component of music); history that is accompanied by the tender images drawn by Juan Ramón Alonso; and the music that makes everything fit is the work of Carla Navarro.

The 'Because They Live' Foundation helps improve children's limitations and brings them the happiness they had forgotten; and to get it they use their toys, as well as musical instruments, which allows to mold a different environment to the one they are used to

The Padre Arrupe Foundation that works in the promotion of education and music is collaborating with the dissemination of this beautiful project; We join the efforts to obtain financing for 'Because they Live', because we believe that a project as generous as this should be supported, so that the affected children can continue to receive the help of music therapy in their homes.

ALLEGRO is available in bookstores throughout Spain, and you can also buy it for 16.90 euros here.
