Valentine's recipe to make with children: cinnamon-flavored puff pastry hearts

I found this recipe so that help the children to prepare the dessert of the family Valentine's dinner that you are going to enjoy next Friday.

Are some flavored hearts as easy as irresistible, and its author is Eva Style, from her blog.

Ingredients

* Two slices of fresh puff pastry (in the supermarket), an egg, sugar, cinnamon powder, vanilla sugar and margarine (I'm going to replace it with butter). Heart-shaped cutter molds (in hardware stores or bazaars).

How is it done

First we stretch the dough well, using a roller, if necessary. Then we mix in a small bowl a couple of tablespoons filled with margarine or butter, with a tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of cinnamon powder, and another of vanilla sugar.

The mixture can be spread (the butter if it works well is quite soft) on the dough using a spatula or the back of a spoon

Once it is covered (you can adjust the quantities if it does not reach you), cover with the other sheet. Then use the molds to cut several stuffed hearts.

Finally, the surface is brushed with beaten egg, sprinkled with icing sugar, and put in the preheated oven (170 or 180 degrees are sufficient), for 20 minutes, or until the surface is golden but not dry.

I can only wish you a Happy Valentine's Day, and enjoy these hearts.
