Would you take your baby to a spa? And would you put a float around your neck?

We are not talking about going the whole family to spend a few days of (more or less) relaxing, but about take your baby to a baby spa, a center specializing in the smallest of the house. Moms and dads dry and the baby takes all the attention ... although some are apparently quite uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable or rather inadvisable, it is the first thing I have thought to see the image that heads this post, with babies so small "hanging" from that float that oppresses their face and that makes them look like chickpeas floating in a pot (it is not that can move a lot, the poor ...).

Through this image that I find so overwhelming is promoted a baby spa that has opened its doors in the United States in Texas: Bay Foat. Spa, hydrotherapy, "peace" programs, baby massages ... A world of relaxation and well-being at the service of babies that seems a bit excessive and unnecessary.

Because all that well-being but multiplied by ten we can give it to the baby ourselves and without having to leave the house. Well, the pool is more complicated, but it sure in the bathtub we would get ready and without having to put that "float-oppressor" to the children in the neck.

I like the idea of matronation, always in appropriate facilities and with all the security measures and if possible, with mom or dad. Well, what matters at these ages is not that they know how to swim (something impossible) but that they enjoy time with their parents and have fun developing their muscles, coordination ...

Regarding children's massages, we know that they are not always easy, but more complicated will be given by a stranger ... Of course, in this center they give workshops so that we learn to do it.

Anyway, what Going back to the question at the beginning, would you take your baby to a baby spa? You will have seen what I think, I prefer to set up the spa at home (cheaper) or enjoy it all together when they grow up ... and never, ever, put those floats around your neck.
