Where were the talcum powder?

Today I want to talk a moment, just a little while, about the great forgotten of our era: talcum powder.

I want to talk about them because in their day they were an essential element in the care of our asses, so much, that many still remember them those times when parents held with one hand the baby's ankles while with the other made the gesture of shaking the jar so that talcum powder they went directly to propulsion to the perianal zone and to our English.

I was so used to them (that I had two younger brothers), that I had always thought that being my father would use them too. However, they have been discontinued for some time, basically because they were harmful to children.

It is not that they affect your skin in any way. They were wonderful to protect the diaper area and avoid stings and dermatitis, however they had a problem, they were powders.

Being dusty its use caused a white cloud that children inhaled quite easily. Inhalation of foreign substances may cause respiratory infections., so today, having topical products that do the same function as talcum powder, it makes no sense to continue using it and that is why it is not used anymore.

Some parents still have them in case they have to be put on the feet of their children (if they sweat), but I say, at the level of the baby's ass, today we have creams of water paste that work wonders and that are the culprits that Today's babies do not know a plastic tube with a rotating lid from which a white smoke came out that gave a little taste in the ass and that also smelled good (it smelled good to me, come on).
