Today on our last theme dedicated to Spring, we will make some fun 'bookmark pages' to use as a reading point in the books of the whole family. The truth is that any piece of cardboard or paper could help us, but by involving the children in their making, they have fun and then get a useful object.
They are so easy that, with a little organization, you can also use them as gifts for guests at a birthday party. And for our part, we advance in the series of articles dedicated to the organization of birthdays at home, which we left a few weeks ago with a sample of handmade invitations.
Necessary materials:
- 25 x 5 cm colored cardboard rectangles, pencil and rubber, colored markers, white glue, brush (to apply the glue), colored pencil shavings or hard waxes, glitter, dried leaves and flowers, white cotton, cellophane transparent self-adhesive (like the one used to line books).
How to make our brand pages:
The first thing we have to do is decide the design in each of them, I will make four proposals because I know that later you can imagine and create many more:
Rainbow, a rainbow is drawn in pencil on the upper half of the cardboard and white glue is applied on each of the stripes. Then color chips are glued very carefully and allowed to dry.
Nature, a thin stem or trunk is drawn longitudinally, and the dried flowers or leaves are glued on the sides.
Sparkly, a magic wand is drawn with a star tip and the shape is filled with a tail, then we must sprinkle glitter on top and let it dry.
Sheep, on this occasion the motifs will be tender sheep whose body we will paint with white tail to subsequently paste fine pieces of white cotton.
In all the models, and once the tail dries (which I don't know if I had told you that it is transparent), we have only the final touch: cover them with adhesive cellophane so that the work of art is not spoiled, and voila!
Tomorrow begins the summer and our interests will change, but during this spring we have talked about the equipment for excursions, how to build birdhouses, we have watched the birds from the Vultouris network, we have planted our edible balconies ... and above all we hope we have given you So many ideas.
