On Saturday, September 7, 14 and 21, 2013, between 12:30 and 13:30 in the National Geographic Store on Gran Vía Street in Madrid, workshops will be held for kids to celebrate a science month full of attractions and news.
In the workshop on September 7 called Playing with polymers You can practice with polymers and you can get a blandiblú, as in the picture, to take it home. The workshop on September 14 is called Journey to the Center of the Earth and the basic processes of geology will be shown and it will be possible to work on the creation of a volcano. Day 21 will work with the static electricity and they will be able to observe how a fluorescent with a magnetic field is illuminated or see how the hairs are put on end to the participants.
It seems to me that the National Geographic store in Madrid is doing an interesting work of dissemination, with a focus also on children, from Gran Vía Street and deserves our attention. He workshop cost is 5 euros and I think they can be a good option to rest between the start of school and the excitement of summer memories.
