Recipes for the whole family: orange glazed cookies, sherry vinegar chicken drumsticks and more delicious stuff

How are you doing appetite? Lunchtime is approaching and today as every week we put on our apron to get into the kitchen and prepare delicious recipes for the whole family, to enjoy special flavors and renew the menus.

We bring you the best recipes of our companions of Direct to the Palate and Vitónica with which you can prepare varied and healthy dishes. Today in our selection we highlight very appetizing recipes of vegetables, main dishes and desserts for the sweet tooth. Bon Appetite!

To the rich vegetable

  • Eggplant rolls stuffed with tomato, cheese and kale cabbage (top photo). Many children have trouble eating vegetables, but if we try original dishes they may surprise us. As with these eggplant rolls, very rich and healthy.

  • Broccoli meatballs. Broccoli is not a very frequent food in many houses with children, but these original meatballs can be a good way to introduce this soft-tasting vegetable that combines well with almost everything.

  • Avocado hummus (top photo). Avocado is a vegetable with many beneficial properties and this delicious humus will combine perfectly with potatoes, nachos, meat, rice ...

  • Turnip salad, quinoa and roasted sesame seeds, a healthy and very light recipe to accompany a main dish, side dish or salad.

Main courses

  • Chicken thighs with sherry vinegar (top photo). Chicken is very recurrent in family menus, so you have to look for new ways to prepare it and that nobody gets bored of this white meat. On this occasion, a French-inspired recipe for licking your fingers.

  • Pork loin braised with zucchini, plums and blueberries, another classic, the pork loin, practically lean meat that we can cook on this occasion braveado and with fruits and vegetables such as zucchini and plums that give it a different touch.

  • Easy recipe for vegan banana pancakes, ideal for breakfast or a snack, with fruit and without using eggs.

  • Teff cake suitable for celiacs. Teff is a cereal that is introduced gradually in more and more places, a source of protein, in addition to calcium, iron and fiber, which in flakes or flour we can use to make a delicious cake.

  • Coconut and cashew cake. A raw vegan recipe as appealing as the image above shows, combining more or less exotic fruits in a combination of great flavors.

  • Bara Brith's beer recipe, delicious Welsh cake to accompany a tea. We pass a recipe that comes from Wales and is made in a plum cake mold with various dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, dates, plums ...) that will give it an irresistible sweet touch.
