Is Fergie's new 'M.I.L.F. $' video a hymn of empowerment to mothers?

Singer Fergie, former Black Eyed Peas vocalist, premiered her first solo work with a new theme and video titled, 'M.I.L.F. $', where logically milk is the main claim and pretends to be a hymn of empowerment to mothers, although some doubt much of this intention.

Other famous mothers like Kim Kardashian, model Alessandra Ambrosio with her daughter and also model Chrissy Teigen, who appears to breastfeed their two-month-old baby, also participate in it. The song title is not accidental, it is a double meaning word game. The acronym MILF, according to the singer refers to "Moms I'd Like To Follow", instead of the familiar "Moms I'd like fuck" ("moms I want to sleep with" ) for which he became famous.

"We've changed the acronym, giving women the power to do everything. These women have a career, a family, and still find time to take care of themselves and feel sexy," Fergie told People magazine.

The video is set in the 50s and is aimed at mothers who, in addition to raising their children, take time to work and have fun. But at all times milk is present. Kardashian showers with milk while Fergie takes a milk bath, a trend in pregnancy photos.

Do you feel reflected?

But as much as it pretends to be a tribute to mothers, the message of empowerment of mothers is lost between sensual movements of perfect bodies. There are those who even think that it is very far from that message and that on the contrary, sexualize breastfeeding.

On the other, there are those who only see a fun video with women who are still sexy after having children. What do you think? Do you feel identified? Is it just a funny video or an insult to motherhood?
