The actress Emily Blunt, who in February showed off her pregnancy at the Oscars, was a mother five months ago of her second daughter, Violet, and in an interview with InStyle magazine made some curious statements related to her postpartum, assuring that after having her, he was up to a week without being able to shower.
A hard postpartum
The interview was made eight weeks after giving birth, so the actress and her partner were still in that complicated period of several weeks in which you are still trying to sort the family dynamics and adapt to the news.
That is why Blunt explained in the interview, in a restaurant, that he was still breastfeeding and that what he was going to ask for when looking at the letter responded to his incredible hunger. In general, he talked about his projects as an actress, about his experiences in his profession, but when he left the subject of his recent motherhood he confessed how complicated his postpartum had been.
"After arriving home from the hospital, I didn't take a shower in a week," he said. And he reached a point of mental exhaustion so beast that he told John, her husband, that I needed to go out to dinner outside, or that it was an hour, because if not the breasts were going to burst, to show that they could feel normal again for a second.
The difficult transition from one to two children

It is common for postpartum to be complicated

Between arms, breastfeeding, paperwork, crying, and everything else in the house, there are many days when night comes and you realize that there is still everything in the house to do.
It happened to us with the first one, which they gave us ten o'clock and we still hadn't prepared even dinner, and we fell asleep! We soon present some marked dark circles that ten years later we still notice a little.
That is why we always say that postpartum can be very hard (in case we manage to avoid that the expectations are incredibly favorable, at the risk that the blow will be greater later), and that women should have a lot of support, not only from the couple, but also of other family members or friends who keep her company, give her conversation and lend a hand with everything, where they and the couple do not arrive.
